About Date Curves

Date Curves not a dating agency – we simply arrange a venue and invite single people of both sexes to come and meet new people.

We will review the Ground Rules a few minutes before the start time…you do not disclose your last name, where you live or work, phone number, emails etc. Nor do you ask someone out during the event itself…no pressure! The goal of speed dating is to meet as many people as you can to find a match in a casual, fun and pressure-free environment. Breathe. Be Yourself. Have fun!!! SMILE!!!

At the start of the event, everyone puts on a nametag with only your first name. The event is organized so that you will chat, ask questions, and check out the chemistry with everyone in a string of one-on-one conversations lasting 5 minutes each. Ladies will sit at a numbered table. At the end of the 5 minutes, a bell will ring, and you will have 1 minute to fill out your “Score Card” as to whether you would like to see that person again in the future. The men will then move to the next seat. Please do not skip or leave a table prior to the bell.

The process continues until everyone has met. Half way through there will be a short break where you may refill your drinks, stretch, etc. When all the men have met all the women, you hand in your completed “Score Card” to the host. The event itself will last for about two and a half hours. You are then welcome to stay and mingle for a while, take the opportunity to meet other fabulous people who are there to meet others just like you, and learn more about Date Curves!

After the event, you will receive an e-mail indicating any perfect matches (meaning you both checked yes on the Scorecard) with the only the first name and e-mail address of each perfect match.. Please allow 2 to 3 business days for this email to arrive. From there, it is up to the both of you to contact one another. All participants will receive an e-mail regardless of their match status. If for some reason you do not receive one, contact the event organizer.

Date Curves was created by Sandy Jean Philippe the winner of E! Network’s Bank of Hollywood to alleviate the many pressures of Dating in general, as a Curvy Diva herself she decided that she was tired of the same old bar scene, didn’t really like being setup, and really just wanted another exciting alternative in meeting new people. What makes Date Curves unique is that it is catered to women that are CURVY! And of course men that can appreciate a lady with curves.

In one short evening, you will have a series of short dates - up to twenty-five beautiful curvy women and men that likes women with curves. Prior to the actual speed dating there will be a mix and mingle segment (Ice Breaker) to get everyone acquainted. Let Date Curves help you get over your 1st Date Jitters.

I am an actress, model, and CEO of my own company, when it comes to dating; speed dating is one of the best methods of doing it. Personally attending a few of my own I found that it’s less pressure on both parties participating. Now to have an event that caters to curvy women, and have the men that are attending like women with curves puts me at ease. Date Curves doesn’t guarantee a love connection, or that you will find your soul mate. We provide an alternate way of meeting new people and really networking. We screen daters and make sure we follow the guidelines that you set in ways to communicate with potential matches. So go ahead and register, come out and have a great time.
